A group of Southampton friends are to take part in a fund raising mission across Europe this weekend dressed as television heroes the A Team.
Complete with an authentic looking A-Team van, the four mates dressed up as B A Baracus, Hannibal, Faceman and "Howling Mad" Murdoch from the popular 1980s American TV series.
The group are taking part in the Scumball Rally, which will see about 80 cars driven across a number of European countries over four days, in a bid to raise £1,500 for the charity Whizz-Kidz.
Each group has spent less than £500 on their vehicle. They will have to drive about 350 miles a day but they weren't due to find out their route until they arrived in Calais this morning.
The group is made up of Glen Crump (Faceman), Ian McCrindle (B A Baracus), Jon Watts (Hannibal) and Enrico Clay (Murdoch). They met when pupils at Bellemoor School, Southampton.
Glen Crump, 32, of Inner Avenue, Southampton, said: "I haven't stopped laughing since Ian got his B A Baracus hair do. The trip should be a really good laugh. I feel like I'm 16 again."
Whizz-Kidz improves the quality of life of disabled children and young people in the UK by providing customised mobility equipment such as wheelchairs and tricycles.
