Burridge beat all odds to secure this years Under 15s Division Two title.
After finishing third from bottom in the Under 14s Division Two, Terry Parsons and his side new that they had a massive battle on their hands.
The season started well for Burridge, beating local rivals, Sarisbury Sparks 5-1. Then they demolished Pace Panthers 6-0 but fell short of expectations, only managing a 2-2 draw against Marchwood Rangers. They then fell down the table, after losing against Tadburn Panthers 6-3.
Burridge then found form and managed eight wins out of nine - only losing once to Sarisbury Sparks.
The title came down to the last game of the season, with Burridge and Tadburn both fighting for glory - with both sides level on points but Tadburn had the advantage of a great goal difference.
In an entertaining encounter, Burridge lead the majority of the match 2-0. Tadburn pulled one back with five minutes remaining - ensuring that it was a nail biter finish. Burridge held on to claim their first Division Two title victory - ensuring more success is on the horizon.
Manager Terry Parsons commented later that evening, "I do not know how to explain it. The lads have performed brilliantly over the last eight months."
Tadburn Panthers finished second.
