LIFEBOAT crews today rescued three people from a speedboat that had suffered engine failure off the Hampshire coast.
Hamble Lifeboat was launched at 4pm after receiving a call from the stranded five-metre vessel, out on Southampton Water.
The boat was towed to Calshot Activity Centre at 4.45pm. None of the three people on the speedboat were injured during the incident.
