A pilot had an incredible escape when his microlight crashed into a field in Hampshire.
The 50-year-old emerged from the wreckage of his light aircraft with a cut to his face and managed to phone the emergency services himself.
Two fire engines from Winchester and Land Rover from Eastleigh fire station were called to the scene of the crash at Farley Mount, near Winchester, at 6.09pm last night.
The pilot was taken to hosptial for treatment to his facial injury.
The aircraft had taken off from nearby Farley Farm.
