A SICK motorist was forced to pull on to the hard shoulder of a Hampshire motorway and call an ambulance for help this morning.
Drivers are facing long delays on the westbound stretch of the M27 near junction nine for Fareham where the ill motorist had to stop.
A police spokeswoman said that additional long queues through both sets of M27 roadworks were affecting traffic and delays were made worse as many schools start back from their two-week holiday.
The Highways Agency expect normal driving conditions to resume from 9.45am.
