Sportstars Red and Winchester Eagles emerge as winners of The Team Elite and Jim Pearson Cups respectively.
After a very even first have where Fawley Falcons started the stronger, Sportstars grabbed the initiative with a late goal just before the break from Matthew Turl. A second goal immediately after the break from Adam Price doubled their advantage and gave Fawley a mountain to climb. The Sportstars then took the game by the scruff of the neck and further goals from Adam Price, Jamie Wallace and Harvey Bradbury (2), gave them a commanding 6-0 victory which did little justice for the good display put up by the Falcons.
The Jim Pearson Cup final between Winchester Eagles and St Francis Rangers lived up to expectations with both sides playing fine flowing football which saw honours even at the break. The deadlock was broken early in the second half where a Dan Hoff header gave the Eagles the advantage. A Harry Bayles long range effort extended the lead and the game was put out off St Francis reach with an unlucky own goal.
