PLANS have been lodged for a massive development at the home of Hampshire cricket.
The Ageas Bowl in West End is already a cricket ground, event venue and hotel, but there could be much more coming to the area.
An application has been put in on behalf of the cricket club for 185 homes, a care home, a hotel, wellbeing centre, new pavillion building and changes to the stadium on Botley Road.

The plans are for a mixture of one to four-bedroom homes, which will be of a "contemporary urban form that complements the stadium".
More parking for the venue is also in the works, with a new parking area of 717 spaces for event days and changes to the Hilton Hotel parking area to add 219 extra spaces.
There are also plans for a 142-bedroom budget hotel, as well as a three-storey independent living complex with 71 ensuite rooms.
The new wellbeing centre would be for "small-scale health-related issues" such as sports therapy, physiotherapy sessions, baby scanning, a GP consultation space, therapy facilities, and opticians.
It may also include a gym, pharmacy and Pilates studio.
The plans were first outlined in February this year.
There have already been two published objections on the application.
Mallow Road resident Stephanie Wickens said that the traffic is already "heavily congested" on Botley Road.
"Estimating that each of these proposed houses will have two cars, plus staff at the care home, wellbeing centre and hotel and their guests, comes in (underestimating here) at 500 to 600 cars per day.
"This is simply not feasible on the roads in this area and not acceptable."
Charlotte Morrison, of Kingsman Drive, added that the council is turning the area into a city and it is losing its green spaces.
The stadium sits within an artificial bowl, formed by steep grass slopes, and is surrounded by some grassland and woodland, and retail parks, residential areas and industrial areas.
The site already contributes £50 million to the economy each year, the documents say.
The application was validated by Eastleigh Borough Council on September 6.
It is open for consultation until October 21, with a decision expected by December 6.
