A SINGALONG version of Disney favourite Encanto and iconic tearjerker The Notebook are among the movies being screened at Eastleigh Film Festival. 

Enjoy a weekend of cinema that encourages you to take the lead role with interactive experiences for all ages at The Point on October 15 and 16.

Gather la Familia for Sing-a-long-a Encanto on the Saturday at 11.30am and 3pm.

Sing your heart out with the live host who will teach you some dance moves, help you create some magic and show you how to use your free interactive props bag at these official screenings of Disney's smash-hit musical of 2021.

Encanto tells the tale of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live in the mountains of Colombia.

Magic has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift from super strength to the power to heal - every child except one, Mirabel.

But when she discovers that the magic surrounding their home is in danger, Mirabel decides that she, the only ordinary Madrigal, might just be her exceptional family’s last hope.

Later that evening, at 7.30pm, grab your coconut shells and join the quest for the Holy Grail with Compass Presents' Monty Python and the Foley Grail.

Watch as one of the most laugh-out-loud films of all time is made even funnier by the additional element of audience participation with live sound effects. 

Released in 1975, Monty Python’s Holy Grail is a comedy masterpiece and cult classic. King Arthur faces obstacles including the tenacious Knights of Ni, a rude Frenchman and a killer rabbit on his quest.

Iconic 2000s tearjerker The Notebook will be screened on Sunday at 2.30pm.

Get into the carnival spirit with complimentary popcorn and ice cream from Eastleigh’s own Daniela's Ices, then recreate one of the film's most iconic scenes at the selfie station before taking your seat for the main event. 

Two young lovers are torn apart by war and class differences in the 1940s in this adaptation of Nicholas Sparks's bestselling novel.
