THE wedding date is set, the flights are booked but there won't be another WAG in sight.
Saints legend Matt Le Tissier has confirmed plans to wed fiancee Angela Nabulsi in a small ceremony.
"She is the one for me," gushed the bridegroom-to-be who intends to jet off to a secret location where the pair will exchange rings.
But instead of inviting hundreds of famous faces to admire their designer outfits, fleets of limousines filled with bridesmaids and well-burnished bling, the pair will fly abroad to an island bolthole.
Le Tissier stopped short of saying which country they will end up in, but determined it would not be a lavish affair with WAGs and well-wishers.
He said: "It is all organised. We are going away for the wedding so there is not much to arrange.
"I am quite happy about it all. There won't be any friends or family it will be simple, just the two of us. It was the same when I popped the question. We were in a hotel called the K-Club in Ireland and I asked her to marry me over dinner. It was her 30th birthday. I didn't get down on one knee - it's not my style. I like to keep things a bit low key."
The 39-year-old midfielder denied playful taunts that his big day on May 19 had anything to do with wanting to be out of the country when rivals Pompey take on Cardiff.
He said: "Pompey have had a great season. Harry's done a cracking job down there. It's just a shame we are not in the same division competing with them. It has been a long time since they have had the chance to win a trophy and there will never be a better chance than now. It is sad to watch what is happening to Saints. I am keeping my fingers crossed we stay in our division.
"I think the fact they have had too many managers in a short space of time has something to do with what has happened and the boardroom upheaval has not helped the club in any way, shape or form.
"The team we have has got enough ability so we should not be in this position we are in."
On returning from honeymoon the happy couple will set up home in the player's Ringwood hideaway.
