The Gillette Bobby Moore Fund Championship is to raise money for cancer, specifically bowel cancer, the disease that took the 1966 World Cup winning captain's life in 1993.

Regional heats of the five-a-side competition will be taking place across the country including in Southampton on Sunday, May 18.

The winners of the eight regional heats will travel to Upton Park, home of West Ham, who Bobby Moore used to play for.

Richard Adams, 70 (pictured) suffered from bowel cancer and is fronting the campaign to get people involved with the competition.

Teams must be at Goals Soccer Centre in Millbrook Point Road, Southampton by 11am with matches starting at 11.45am, to enter a team go to bobbymoorefund.org/football.
