THEY have really have been busy bees celebrating Welly Week.
The Busy Bees Day Nursery at Chandler's Ford marked the nationwide event by launching an allotment in the nursery garden.
They have been learning how to look after their plants and what they need to help them grow.
Children and staff also made a herb garden, a bird table and fat food balls and planters so the birds visiting the garden can feed.
After all this hard work the children enjoyed a nice piece of welly cake for their tea.
Welly Week is organised by Garden Organic to help educate people about organic gardening and farming.
At Gosport ten schools joined in the Welly Week fun by designing and making their own welly ornaments.
