MASTERCHEF presenter Gregg Wallace, pictured, was in Hampshire to generate more interest in cooking with mushrooms.
He gave a mushroom masterclass at Leckford Farm, near Stockbridge, and explained that the popular fungi can be a tantalising meal in itself.
"Mushrooms are the most versatile food, and great value for money. They are just incredible.
"They are also the most forgiving food - you can't possibly mess up a mushroom dish," he said.
Gregg is a successful vegetable grower who supplies many large restaurants in London with fresh produce from his farm.
But he is perhaps best known for hosting the popular MasterChef series with celebrity chef John Torode.
