Southampton man Lee Marquer, 47, pleaded guilty to one charge of assault by beating and one charge of criminal damage.
The charges relate to incidents on February 25, 2022 when Marquer assaulted a woman on East Street and damaged a wall at The Tiger Inn, in Bridport, Dorset.
Marquer, of Cherwell Crescent, in Southampton, appeared before Weymouth Magistrates' Court on Tuesday for sentencing, having previously pleaded not guilty.
For the assault Marquer received a one-year restraining order and issued with a fine of £432. He was ordered to pay a £43 surcharge to fund victim services and costs of £620.
