A SEARCH has been launched for a woman who rescued a man following a robbery.
A 19-year-old man had cash stolen from him when he was robbed by a group of people.
He had been walking between the Hedge End and Botley areas at around 9.45pm on Monday, September 19.
The victim later approached a woman in a white Ford car outside a "local train station".
She then drove him to KFC in Hedge End Retail Park.
Police are now appealing directly to the female driver who helped the victim as officers believe she can help with their investigation.
A police spokesperson said: "If this was you, please call the police on 101 quoting reference 44220382190.
"Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
