ENJOY some brilliant live music and top-notch noodles at this hidden gem of a party pub tucked away on a Southampton side street.
The Dolphin, close to St Denys train station, is renowned for its gigs, both indoors and outdoors.
Tributes to Queen, Oasis and Pink Floyd, as well as a host of local acts including house and techno nights from the SO3 collective, have drawn audiences in their hundreds.
The pub, which is open seven days a week on Osborne Road South, has attracted noise complaints in the past, but landlady Corrine Yendle is working hard to overcome any problems.

She's awaiting the go-ahead from Southampton City Council on a planning application for a covered area for drinking and dining.
Not only will it provide soundproofing for bands, but it will also allow the venue to branch out and host weddings, wakes and special events in a lit and heated building in the garden.
"Put quite simply, it could save the pub," said the Aussie landlady of four and a half years.
"In the current climate, we need lots of big events in the summer to see us through the winter.
"The Dolphin has always been a music pub, but it's not good enough to say you shouldn't have moved next door to a loud pub.
"We have never wanted to annoy any of our neighbours. It's our local regulars who pop in daily that keep us going.
"We don't have bands outside regularly and when we do we try to publicise it.
"We hope the building will reduce noise and help keep everything more contained
"After Covid, we're still trying to get back on our feet and the cost of living crisis is making things even worse."
Another new addition to The Dolphin is the Asian Street Food on offer. Sing Noodles is run by Karyn Sin, who previously opened highly-regarded Noodle 8 in Portswood with her late husband Simon.
With a five star hygiene rating, foodies can enjoy bar snacks like crispy duck pancakes, pork dumplings and gyozas, classics including chow mein and pad thai and curries ranging from chicken katsu to Malaysian, six days a week.
The pub will soon be decked out in its usual terrifying grotto style for Halloween, followed by the impressive Christmas grotto in December.
Meat draws with a difference, boasting a full tray to feed six to eight people, are to return, and a live jazz band, cribbage and open mic night are weekly events.
The Christmas raffle, which last year included bikes, scooters, TVs and other prizes worth £2,000, will soon get under way.
