A MAN has been charged with raping a teenage girl in Totton.

Denis Huel Kadena, of Yorke Street in Southsea, has been remanded in custody in connection with the incident.

The 33-year-old has been charged with two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault. 

The girl reported being raped in the Totton area on September 14.

Kadena was remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court today.

He has been further remanded to appear at Southampton Crown Court on October 21.

Police say the girl is being supported by specialist officers.
