TWO new advertising towers are set to be raised at a Southampton roundabout
The two steel towers each containing two digital screens will be located on either side of Redbridge Flyover.
Standing at 14.4m in height, equivalent to a four-storey block of flats, the new advertising boards will display adverts 10 seconds at a time.
The screens will not contain any images that resemble road traffic signs or symbols and will not be in operation between 11pm and 6am.

The applicant states: "There is a general move in commercial advertising to replace ‘traditional’ poster advertising with LED displays.
"LED displays with Static illumination (as opposed to full motion) has been held to be identical to more traditional poster advertising in terms of the assessment of impact on visual amenity and highway impact."
The plans that were drawn up by Ocean Outdoor UK Ltd were approved by Southampton City Council last Wednesday after first being put forward in April of 2019.
