A MAN has suffered a broken nose after he was attacked by a gang in the early hours.
The man in his 30’s was assaulted by a group of three to four males whilst in the area of the taxi rank in Gosport Ferry Gardens.
He was taken to hospital with a broken nose and a number of cuts to his head.
Police are now appealing for information after the assault between 1am and 2am on Sunday, September 18.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said: "Were you in the area at the time? Did you witness anything?
"Perhaps you were driving in the area and have dash-cam that may have captured something?
"Anyone with any information that may help our investigation is asked to contact us on 101 or online at www.hampshire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/ quoting reference 44220380121.
