A MUCH-loved family pub has reopened its doors after closing for a huge makeover.

The Bellemoor in Shirley was completely transformed before opening again on Saturday.

Although the exact cost has been kept a secret, Greene King said it was a six-figure refurb.

The family pub was completely re-done to be able to cater for more customers.

Daily Echo:

The pub says it offers lively Friday and Saturday evenings for people wanting a great night outside of the city.

And the new layout boasts a brand-new sports area with four new TV screens, in time for the World Cup this winter.

There are also new changes to the food and drink menus.

New lagers on offer include Greene King Flint Eye and Level Head IPA, and Madres and Birra Moretti.

Daily Echo:

The refurb also included a new cocktail station, offering old and new classics like an Old Fashioned, Mojito or Aperol Spritz.

The menu has also had a refresh with new brunches, including a full English, avocado on toast, and bacon sandwiches.

The outdoor space has also been transformed to include a new heated pergola area and a second outdoor dining area, which can be reserved for events.
