A MOTORIST suffered a black eye and a swollen nose after being assaulted following a parking dispute in a Hampshire village.
The 66-year-old victim was targeted after returning to his car, which was parked outside a GP surgery in Hazeley Road, Twyford, on Friday.
A police spokesman said the motorist saw another man taking photographs of his car and asked him what he was doing.
"The man verbally abused him about the position of his vehicle before headbutting him.
"The victim was then taken into the surgery by a passer-by. He suffered a black eye and swollen nose.
"The man we want to speak to is described as white, aged in his 60s, stocky build with grey thinning hair. He was described as being smartly dressed and is believed to have parked his vehicle outside the car park on Hazeley Road."
PC David Brown added: "I am appealing for anyone with information about this incident to come forward.
"Were you in the area at the time of the incident? Do you have a dash cam in your vehicle which may have recorded the incident or the offender in the area?
“If you have any information which could help us identify the offender, please call us on 101 quoting 44220389516.”
