A MAN has been charged with 25 offences following an investigation into theft from cars and a supermarket.
The thefts are alleged to have occurred at Fareham and Lee-on-Solent between July 12 and August 28 this year.
Following enquiries police arrested Richard Featherstone, 32, of Gosport Road in Fareham.
He was later charged with six counts of attempted theft from vehicles at Lee-on-Solent between August 12-13, seven counts of attempted theft from vehicles at Fareham between July 28 and August 11, two counts of theft from vehicles at Lee-on-Solent on August 13, four counts of theft from vehicles at Fareham between July 27 and August 9, five counts of theft from Asda at Speedfields Park, Fareham, between July 12 and August 28, and one count of attempted burglary at Drift Road, Fareham, on July 28.
Featherstone was remanded in custody to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court today.
