SHE'S the businesswoman baking beautiful biscuits for any occasion on earth - including, this week, a vasectomy celebration!

From birthdays to weddings, hen nights to launch nights and leaving dos to children's parties, plus anything and everything in between, Molly Backhouse from Hythe has baked for it.

During her first year in business as Molly's Bakehouse, the 25-year-old has produced numerous different designs, each one baked and decorated with love.

The fledgling business was actually born out of the pandemic. Molly, who had been travelling the world on cruise ships, returned home when all travel came to an abrupt halt in early 2020.

While working at The Priory in Marchwood, her first business, Minds That Matter, was born. Molly started making affirmation biscuits for self-care boxes and could barely keep up with demand.

Her sweet treats have included everything from Saints shirt biscuits to a tile featuring The Queen and Paddington Bear.

Daily Echo: Molly's Bakehouse biscuits

Molly told the Daily Echo: "I spent a lot of time learning how to create works of art on tasty biscuits!

I absolutely love the whole process, from baking, to decorating, to finally seeing the finished product come to life, and the smiles I put on my customers faces when they receive their orders.

"It's wonderful being a small unique part of all different events, from birthdays to weddings! I absolutely love what I do, and this shows in the work I produce.

Daily Echo:

"My products are for absolutely any occasion. If you want six giraffes, no problem! And I've been more than happy to work on the vasectomy biscuits this week!

"I''m a bit of a perfectionist and have a real eye for detail.

"I want to scale up in future and I really think the sky's the limit."

Molly, who has been helping her cake maker aunt since childhood, offers local collection and nationwide postage via her website or successful Etsy store.

Daily Echo:

She has produced a wonderful array of Halloween treats and is currently working on Christmas designs.
