THERE are just five days left to get signed up for this year's Race for Life in Winchester.
More than 2,000 women and girls have already registered for the event at River Park next Sunday, June 1.
The good news is, there are still a handful of spare places for anyone wanting to take part - but you've only got until next Tuesday to sign up.
The Winchester race is one of 260 events taking place up and down the country this summer.
It is hoped the city's 5km challenge will raise more than £170,000 for Cancer Research UK.
Organiser Hannah White said: "We are delighted that so many women have responded to our invitation to join us at Race for Life this year and we hope to have a real party atmosphere on the day.
"The Winchester event is always a fantastic experience, with local women coming together to make a positive difference to the lives of people touched by cancer.
"I hope everyone enjoys the day but I also hope they realise what a fantastic and vital contribution their fundraising will make to the work that our scientists, doctors and nurses are doing."
Women of all ages will be taking part next week from the tiniest tots to pensioners.
Many of those making their way around River Park have either been touched by cancer themselves or know someone close to them who has suffered.
Will you be on the starting line?
