SOUTHAMPTON General Hospital was hit by a small gas leak.
The leak happened in the west wing of the hospital today.
Fire crews were called at 3.48pm to what they called a “small gas leak in the plant room of the hospital”.
Three engines attended the scene from Redbridge, St Mary’s and a special gas management team from Romsey.
The room was ventilated and cordoned off and no injuries were recorded.
Crews left the scene at 6.11pm.
