THE line-up for next year's Let's Rock festival has been announced.

It's the UK’s biggest retro festival brand celebrating all things 80s, and it will be coming to Southampton Common on Saturday July 8, 2023.

The festival will be headlined by Soft Cell with special guests The Boomtown Rat.

The line-up will also include Kim Wilde, Slim Jim Phantom (Stray Cats), Neville Staple, Heaven 17, The Farm, Go West, Sinitta and more.

Next year will also see Let’s Rock partner with digital radio station Absolute 80s.

After two pandemic-hit summers, 2022 saw the return of the full schedule of Let's Rock festivals that attracted more than 150,000 people across thirteen festival sites.

Let’s Rock organisers and founders Nick Billinghurst and Matt Smith said: “It was truly humbling to have everyone back at Let’s Rock this summer after two difficult years, and it means the world to us that our loyal audience has stuck with us.

"We’re already looking forward to 2023 and are proud to announce what we hope you’ll agree is a spectacular line-up for Let’s Rock Southampton. See you next summer!”

The family-friendly festival can also be enjoyed by children, with free activities such as an interactive circus, face painting and inflatables.

For adults, there are many bars and a ‘Club Tropicana’ VIP area.

The festival's official charity partner is Child Bereavement UK, which support families facing bereavement.

The charity has raised more than £800,000 at the Let's Rock festivals since 2014.

The charity's UK Community Projects Manager Lorna Murchi said that "every bit" donated at the concerts "adds up and makes a huge difference".

The festival will tour the country putting on one-day festivals from May until September, feating two headline acts and a host of others.

Let's Rock will also be held in Cookham, Leeds, Midlothian in Scotland, Exeter, Shrewsbury and Bangor.
