A TEENAGE biker dragged a police officer down the road causing serious injury after being asked to stop for having a modified exhaust.
Wesley Thomson-Bruske has been jailed following the incident in Eastleigh in December last year.
The 19-year-old had been riding a motorbike with a modified exhaust on Knightswood Road in Eastleigh at around 5.45pm on December 22.
A police officer spotted the teen while dealing with a separate crash and he approached the rider.

The officer asked him to pull over close to Raglan Close so that he could speak with him about the excessive noise of the exhaust.
But Thomson-Bruske resisted and tried to flee the scene.
While attempting to ride away, he dragged the officer down the road.
The motorcycle lost control, causing a serious injury to the officer.

He was detained and arrested at the scene.
At Southampton Crown Court, Thomson-Bruske was charged with driving without a licence, failing to stop a vehicle when required by police, drug driving, driving without insurance, and assault causing actual bodily harm.
Thomson-Bruske, of Avon Green, Chandler’s Ford, was jailed for 10 months, disqualified from driving for 23 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £187 to the court to fund victim services.
