FORTHRIGHT views, hilarious anecdotes, personal film footage from an incredible cricketing career and an opportunity to ask Sir Geoffrey Boycott anything, expect all this and more in Southampton next month.
An Evening with Sir Geoffrey Boycott is at MAST Mayflower Studios on November 1.
He has had major heart surgery, become a grandfather for the first time and been honoured with a long-overdue knighthood, but is no longer on our airwaves.
So, in a packed autumn in which England are defending their T20 World Cup title and competing with the old enemy to wrestle back control of The Ashes, here is the chance to hear what Sir Geoffrey thinks about - well, everything!
He told the Daily Echo: "This will be a night of fun and laughter talking cricket sense, with amusing stories and anecdotes, plus film of my playing and commentating career with audience questions and answers."
The event is in aid of the Professional Cricketers’ Association.
