AN airline has bolstered its summer flights schedule from Southampton amid growing demand.
Loganair has announced additional flights to both Edinburgh and Glasgow in 2023.
The addition comes as the company responds to "growing demand from leisure and business travellers".
Starting from June 19, 2023, the new schedule will see an additional daily flight from Southampton to both Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The increase means five daily flights to both Scottish cities allowing customers to arrive in the Scottish capital early and bringing a later departure to and from Glasgow.
The airline says it is trying to "plug a gap" in the schedule.
Luke Lovegrove, chief commercial officer at Loganair, said: “Loganair has experienced its busiest summer ever this year, carrying a record number of customers across the UK and Europe and we expect Summer 2023 to be no different.
“We take great pride in facilitating growth in interconnectivity across the UK and by increasing our frequency on some of our key routes, we can better serve our customers.”
Tickets for the new timetable are on sale from today (Wednesday October 5).
