A NEW kid on the block serves the greatest Sunday roast dinner in Southampton, according to our readers.
Figurati, the classy Italian eatery which opened in Ocean Village in July, received dozens of votes in a poll.
We featured the five top venues for a delicious roast according to Tripadvisor and then asked our readers which restaurant or pub is responsible for the ultimate Sunday lunch experience in their view.

"The best roast I've ever had in my entire life," said Molly Arbon on her trip to Figurati, which serves up the Acoustic Roast, a choice of slow-roasted sirloin of beef, lemon and thyme roasted free range chicken, rolled Hampshire pork loin or nut roast to the sounds of live music.
Bacaro, also an Italian restaurant in Ocean Village, and Portswood's Ceno tied for the second spot, Ceno lauded for its gluten-free options and readers loving the sharing roasts at Bacaro.
Next up was The Red Lion, the historic Grade II listed pub on Southampton's High Street, with roast dinners described as 'great' and 'the city's best-kept secret'.
Wine and charcuterie venue Porters, in Queen's Terrace, wasn't short of votes with Kyle Bigwood enthusing: "If you disagree then you haven't been. Unbelievable service. Incredible experience every time."
The Anchor Inn at Eling and Samuel's Rest in Shedfield were also popular choices.
The original article, based on Tripadvisor ratings earlier this month, gave the top spot to Grand Cafe, followed by The Brewery Bar in Botley, The Duke of Wellington, The Black Dog in Waltham Chase and The Railway Inn in Botley with lots of readers giving all five the thumbs up.
Grand Cafe has recently undergone a stunning venue refurbishment and has reopened as The Grand, still serving its superb Sunday roasts each week.
Lots of readers felt they or members of their family were the best Sunday roast chef around.
Other venues being given great reviews included Carnicero, Papillon, The Haywain at Bartley, The White Swan at Mansbridge, The Master Builder in West End, Sherwoods Restaurant at Eastleigh Football Club and The Salmon Leap in Totton.
