A HAMPSHIRE woman is searching for the women who helped her after a "nasty accident" that left her bleeding.
Lynda Fry was walking to the toilets on a day out in Warsash when she fell on a shingle path and hit her head on a nearby tree.
She was left needing more than 20 stitches down her face after the fall last month.
The Eastleigh resident was with a friend but two strangers also rushed to help her.
She is now looking for the "nursing angels".
The 67-year-old told the Echo: "I was walking to the toilets at the council car park. The shingle path sort of dipped down and I fell down and hit my head on a tree.
"The ladies were walking along the pavement near the path and they came back and supported me and stopped the bleeding.
"I was slightly knocked out. I believe they were local people and retired nurses.
"I just heard them say, 'Are you alright dear?' They sort of sat me up and said, 'Breathe deeply'.
"I was concerned about the bleeding and my head. They stemmed the bleeding on my face.
"They were there quite a while. They stayed with me until my son came to take me to hospital."
She added that she would like to find the two ladies and thank them for their kindness in what was a "nightmare" situation.
Lynda has been posting in Facebook groups to try and find them.
She added: "It was a bit of a nightmare really. I was so very frightened that day. Words can’t express the gratitude I feel.
"These two ladies were lovely. I would like to contact them to say thank you. They were so very kind.
"I would like to ring them and thank them for their kindness. It just shows there are kind people around when traumatic things happen.
"They were my nursing angels."
It happened on September 21 at around 4pm.
