A BEAUTY salon with bright pink flower walls has opened in Southampton.
Oh It's LailaK at 6A Shirley High Street hopes to bring something new and "fairytale-like" to the area.
The salon is currently only nail-based, offering pedicures and manicures to its customers, but owner Laila Khan would like to grow the business step by step.
Laila said: "I have always been into the beauty side of things, and then I was thinking that instead of working for someone else, I'll work for myself.
"I have been planning this business for almost a year, and it's kind of an adventure and it's a learning curve but I enjoy the thrill I get out of it.
"I thoroughly enjoy being my own boss and making my own decisions and, if anything, it's just the most fun and exciting thing ever."
The Shirley salon has created five jobs so far and is planning to expand the business and specialise in other services such as eyelashes, eyebrows, massages and more.
Oh It's Laila's royal-theme interior consists of glamorous thrones and polished pink walls and floors.
Laila says the unique, eye-catching decor is already attracting customers, with people coming in and loving the atmosphere of the place.
The 25-year-old added: "Everyone has been very shocked whenever they see the flowers.
"I think it's because the whole theme is very fairytale and royal-like.
"I feel this is what has attracted the girls and other customers. They want to be surrounded by something like this."
This week only, the salon is offering a £5 discount on all services.
Laila said: "I think anyone who is looking to open a business needs to trust and believe in themselves.
"They should be confident enough to take a risk."
