DOG lovers have celebrated Halloween with the spooktacular return of a pet cafe in Southampton.
Over 200 pooches and their owners flocked to the city over the weekend to celebrate the holiday.
The event was held at Revolucion de Cuba in Above Bar Street and featured supernatural-themed dog biscuits, ghostly puppuccinos, and pumpkin-covered photo ops.
Pop and Bark hosted the gathering for the fourth year in Southampton and returned for the first time since 2021.
'Dog mums' Sarah Toyie and Emily Middleditch from Portswood said they were "thrilled" after hearing of about the dog cafe event.
Sarah, 25, brought her three-month-old cockapoo named Digby.
She said: "I love it. Digby loves it too. It's everything he could have wanted from today.
"It's social for him and it is so nice seeing all the different dogs. People always say that me and Emily spoil our pets but they are like our kids."
Emily who owns a two-year-old cockapoo and dash hound mix named Cooper added: "The both of them have got tucked into the pup cups.
"They are hyper but I'm sure they could keep this up for ages."
Eight-month-old Patches and his owner Sarah Gates travelled over two hours from Bedfordshire to attend on Sunday.
The 37-year-old said: "We've gone to many of these before and we absolutely love it.
"I don't mind the travel because Patches gets so excited when he knows where we're going."
