Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, the three men were remanded in custody to appear at the city's crown court on November 15.
Bethany Adams, prosecuting, said they were arrested after police found a "large-scale" cannabis factory housing more than 1,000 plants capable of producing drugs worth at least £140,000.
Ms Adams said the factory included a sleeping area for 12 people, a fully-stocked kitchen and even a gym.
