A MAN who stole underwear and clothes from an Eastleigh home "breached the victim's trust".
John Gooch stole underwear and clothes during a burglary at a house on Bright Wire Crescent.
The court heard how the 64-year-old planned the offence and described it as a "breach of trust" which had an "impact" on the victim.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he admitted one charge of burglary.
Gooch, of St Edmund Close, Fareham, was jailed for 12 months suspended for 24 months and was handed a restraining order banning him from contacting the victims indirectly or directly or attending their address until October 24.
For the break-in he committed in June this year, he was ordered to do 100 hours of unpaid work.
Gooch must also pay a victim surcharge of £128 and court costs of £85.
