A WOMAN has been fined for not wearing a face covering on public transport.
Victoria Yanella was on public transport in Holborn on May 23 last year, but she was not wearing a mask.
At the time, it was still required by law to wear a face covering in public spaces due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The 20-year-old did not have a reasonable excuse as to why she did not have one, the court heard.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, she admitted one charge of failing to wear a face covering contrary to the Health Protection Regulations 2020.
Yanella, of Limetree Walk, Winchester, was fined £60 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34.
