UPCOMING works on a bridge in Southampton will impact bus services.
Work to replace kerb stones and gullies as well as placing new road markings on the road surface on Cobden Bridge is due to kick off on October 31.
The aim is to improve the bus stop, access for pedestrians, and the cycle lane on the bridge.
The initial phase of the work will start on Monday for two weeks during the day, from 7.30am to 5pm.
As this will involve workers replacing kerb stones and gullies, barriers will be placed on the carriageway to ensure safety.
Two-way traffic will be maintained during this time.

While this work is undertaken, the bus stop on Cobden Bridge near to The Boathouse apartments will be temporarily out of service and access via the gate to The Boathouse will be closed off.
Access to and from Riverside Park will be maintained during this time.
The second phase of work will involve the removal of the current road markings and then re-lining with the new road markings.
Due to the high volumes of traffic in the area, this work will occur overnight and residents will be advised of this in due course.
A Southampton City Council spokesperson said: “Our works are weather dependant, and should we experience bad weather conditions we may need to postpone the work.
“We will notify you via the yellow advance warning signs should this occur.
“We understand that these works may be disruptive, we would like to apologise in advance for this. “
