A REFURBISHED university business suite is set to be named after a former student who was killed in a crash 20 years ago.
Solent University's newly refurbished law and business suite within its Spark building will be known as The Lisa Wilson Business and Law Suite.
The former student had graduated from the university in 2002 and was travelling the world when she died in an accident on her way to Ayres Rock, Australia.
November 4 marks 20 years since her tragic death.

The Lisa Wilson Scholarship Fund, a charity set up by her family, has now raised over £300,000 to help young adults who have overcome adversity to fulfil their educational dreams.
Lisa's father, Clive Wilson, said they are "pretty amazed it got to where it did" having launched the charity with the goal to raise just £10,000.
"For some of [the students who have benefited], it can be life-changing," he said.
After 20 years of fundraising, the Wilson family will be handing over the funds from the charity to the university to ensure the work in Lisa’s memory lives on.
The suite will be named at a ceremony at the university on November 15 attended by Lisa's family, some of the recipients, friends, supporters of the charity and officials from the university.
Mr Wilson, 70, added: "I think that is an amazing way to try and keep her memory and her legacy alive."

Lisa graduated with a BA 2-1 in Business Management and it is fitting that this area will carry her name in future.
To date, over 100 students have benefitted from the charity with bursaries given to them for £1,000 per year for up to three years.
The family added: "As every £1,000 represents a year of a student's life this means Lisa’s Legacy is over 300 years of education to date."
In 2019 Lisa was awarded a posthumous honorary degree of Master of Business Administration for work in her name in the community.
