A CANDLE-LIT vigil has been organised in support of a woman left fighting for her life after a serious assault.
Shannon Webb remains in the hospital in critical condition after being found unconscious on the floor in the early hours of Sunday.
The 21-year-old from Eastleigh has been described as "a happy-go-lucky person" who "loves her friends and family".
The attack on Leigh Road, which also left a man with serious injuries, has rocked the community.

Dannon Robinson, who has known Shannon since she was a baby, said: "I reached the scene five or ten minutes after Shannon and another guy were attacked.
"Both of them were taken to the hospital, and when I spoke to the family last time, she was still in critical condition.
"They are worried and stressed at this moment in time."
Dannon has described Shannon as a lovely young lady who loves her friends and family.
He added: "She loves going out and is a happy-go-lucky person but right now she is going through a hell of a time and doesn't deserve any of this."
A candle-lit vigil in support of Shannon is taking place on Leigh Road Recreation Ground by the bandstand at 6pm on Friday.
Around 300 people are expected to attend, with others lighting candles at home.
Residents are encouraged to bring their own candles and lanterns.
Dannon said: "We have organised this vigil to show support for Shannon, her family, and other victims.
"We need the community of Eastleigh to come together more than ever now."
