A FIREWORKS display has been cancelled after Storm Claudio destroyed attractions and flooded the field.
New Forest Fireworks Night has been cancelled following a few days of horrendous weather, organisers have announced.
They say the storm has caused a lot of damage to the grounds and structures on the grounds.
It also destroyed some attractions and vendors, which were set to appear at this year's event.
The field is also waterlogged following torrential rain.
All tickets will be automatically refunded, the organisers have said.
The event was due to take part on November 5 at Strawberry Fields, Boldre, and was set to feature a bonfire, fire performers, a fairground, a bar, and live music.
In a post on Facebook, they said: "We are absolutely gutted to inform you that this year's New Forest Fireworks Night has been cancelled.
"The team have done their absolute best to try and ensure a safe event could take place but it simply has not been possible.
"Safety is of the utmost importance to us and we hope you understand the decision.
"We wanted to make this decision as soon as possible to allow you to make other arrangements.
"New Forest Fireworks Night will be back next year better than ever."
