LUXURY jewellery Laings has unveiled a £3m plan to open a new Southampton showroom three times the size of its existing premises.
Laings is moving from its current site at the Westquay shopping centre to a unit formerly occupied by Victoria's Secret lingerie shop, which closed in September.
Laings' new 9,000sq ft showroom is due to open next summer as part of a national expansion scheme.
Its existing outlet will remain open until the move takes place.
Managing director Stuart McDowell said: "This move marks a significant investment into our presence and customer offering in Southampton, where we have operated for close to 30 years.
