HOT water is back on after a huge leak and forced evacuation from a Southampton block of flats.
Dozens of residents at Roundhill Close, Midanbury, were evacuated on Wednesday evening.
A woman living on the groundfloor said she heard "hissing" noises coming from her boiler and hot water and steam leaking from the pipes.
Firefighters were called to the flats at around 8.45pm to an alarm, and found a large water leak.
The crews from Hightown and St Mary’s cleared water from the flat, isolated water and electrics in the building, and handed over the incident to Southampton City Council.

The fire service originally said this was due to a boiler explosion, but the council has said a "fault within the Heat Interface Unit" is to blame.
After the incident on Wednesday, a spokesperson from Southampton City Council said: "We can confirm that the nature of the issue was a water leak on a main supply connection to an individual property and members of our Property and our Housing Operations team are working to resolve the issue."
It is not the first time that concerns have been raised over fire safety in the block of flats.
There was a full evacuation of the building on September 24 due to a system fault, with some residents saying individual alarms did not go off.
The council last month confirmed it was launching an investigation after discovering "ongoing" fire safety issues. But the council said that there was "no risk" to residents.
