TWO men have been arrested after leading police on a chase from Winchester to Southampton.
The pair, aged 25 and 26, were eventually stopped after officers used a stinger to flatten the car's tires.
The Audi A4 was linked to attempted burglaries and thefts in the Eastleigh area.
It was spotted on Battery Hill in Winchester and failed to stop to police at 12.22am on Wednesday.
The chase continued down the M3 towards Southampton.

The car was stopped on Basset Avenue after officers used a stinger at the roundabout at the top of the road.
Police also used tactical contact to bring the car to a stop.
The 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop, dangerous driving and failing to cooperate with a preliminary test.
He was also arrested on suspicion of common assault of an emergency worker, going equipped for a burglary and theft.
The 26-year-old was arrested on suspicion of burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal, assaulting a person and possession of cocaine.
Both remain in custody as enquiries continue.
