A MAN who was found dead at a Southampton park has been named as an inquest opens into his death.
Piotr Jerzy Stronk, 39, of Sydney Road, was discovered by a gardener in St James' Park, Shirley on the morning of Sunday, October 30.

Police attended shortly before 8am and he was pronounced dead on the scene. A previous statement confirmed the incident was not being treated as suspicious.
Coroner Sarah Whitby gave the preliminary cause of his death as hanging.
The inquest opening, held last month, was adjourned for a full hearing on September 27, 2023.
