A WOMAN who died after being hit by a car in Southampton has been named locally.
Fifty-year-old Teresa Grimes was killed on Saturday on West End High Street.
She was on the pavement when she was struck by a BMW before 11pm.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her family have been posting tributes on social media.

A 28-year-old Southampton man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, driving a motor vehicle with alcohol above the limit, driving while unfit through drink, and driving a vehicle while unfit through drugs.
