A LORRY driver has been charged with causing the deaths of three people in a horror crash that claimed the lives of two people from Southampton.
Recovery worker Tom Watson, 30, from Cheriton Avenue, was killed in the crash on the A303 near Andover along with Tina Ince, 58, from Lydgate Road.
Both had come to the aid of Portsmouth woman Alex Britton, 28, from Fifth Avenue. She worked as a ceremony manager for Marston Events in Andover where she was responsible for running graduation ceremonies at universities.
She was on her way to work the day of the crash.

Now Hampshire police have said Michal Kopaniarz, 39, is due in court today facing three charges of causing death by dangerous driving, and perverting the course of justice.
Kopaniarz, of Park Road in Donnington, Shropshire, is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court today.
The crash happened August 25 last year just before 8.40am.
The incident involved a Vauxhall Astra, a Mercedes food delivery van, a HGV and a DAF recovery truck.
Tina's family previously spoke of her "heart of gold" and said words couldn't explain how much she would be missed.
They said: “Tina was a kind and generous person with a heart of gold. She lived as she died: helping people.
“Words do not begin to describe how much she will be missed by those who knew her.
“She was strong, hardworking, and truly one of a kind."
Tom's family said they have been left "devastated" by his passing.
Paying tribute, they said: “Our lovely Tom was a kind-hearted, generous man who loved to help people and do anything for his family.
“We are absolutely devastated that he has been taken from us. He was everything to his loving parents, wife, and the rest of his family."
Alex's family previously said: "Alex was fun, caring, a joy to be with, and a wonderful mother.
“We are all devastated by what has happened. She leaves behind two very young girls and a partner who she was to marry in February."
