A CYCLIST in his 80s has been rushed to hospital in Southampton after a crash.
The cyclist was in collision with a grey BMW at the junction of The Green and Redhill Road at Rowlands Castle at around 3pm today.
A police spokesman said: "The cyclist, a man in his 80s, has been taken to Southampton General Hospital as a result of the collision.
"Redhill Road is closed while we deal with this incident and diversions are in place.
"We are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or the events leading up to it, or caught anything on dash cam such as the cyclist travelling along Redhill Road, to please contact police."
Anyone with information can contact officers on 101, quoting incident number 1131 of today’s date.
