A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a multi-vehicle crash.
Police officers were called to West End Road in Bitterne just after 5pm last night.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash which injured two people.
A 58-year-old man from Lymington has since been arrested on suspicion of driving while over the prescribed alcohol limit.
He is currently in police custody.

Hightown firefighters were also called to the scene.
Crews provided immediate emergency care to two casualties and made the scene safe before returning to station after 6pm.
One woman spoke of her shock after witnessing the incident last night.
She told the Echo: "[I] just saw a car pile-up, my partner saw people on the floor.
"The traffic lights are wiped out. They’re doing the removal of vehicles now."
