A PASSENGER collapsed and fell between the platform and a train at a station on Tuesday morning.
Emergency services responded to the passenger collapsing at New Milton station, and trains on the lines through the station were temporarily halted.
The lines were reopened at 9.15am, once the passenger was safely recovered.

A spokesperson for South Western Railway said: “A passenger collapsed and fell between a platform and a stationary train at New Milton.
“Trains were temporarily stopped whilst the passenger was safely recovered and both lines reopened at 9.15am.”
The spokesperson added: “We’re sorry for the disruption this morning, which is expected to continue until approximately 11am.”
The line towards Southampton was blocked during the incident.
