A PAEDOPHILE who sent sexual messages to what he thought was a 13-year-old girl, tried to blame it on his ex-girlfriend after he was caught.
Jordan Cavie told the girl who he met on the messaging app, Kik, that she was a "naughty one" and sent her a photo of his penis.
The 28-year-old of International Way also sent her a selfie, asked her where she was and requested that she send him a photo of her body.
However, the girl was in fact an undercover police officer.

Cavie was identified via his email address and eventually arrested.
During a police interview, he denied having control of the profile and even accused his ex-partner of sending messages to make it look like him.
Cavie, who previously worked as a scaffolder, was hauled in front of Southampton Crown Court on Tuesday.
He previously pleaded guilty to attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.
Prosecuting, Matthew Lawson said that it is “impossible” for this to be anyone else but him as he sent a selfie using the in-app photosystem.
But mitigating, Berenice Mulvanny said her client had to quit his job due to how much he was struggling with legal proceedings, meaning that “money is tight”.

The judge, recorder Barry McElduff added that the offence is “aggravated by the fact he tried to blame others”.
“What a despicable act to do Mr Cavie.
“The important fact is this. You thought you were speaking to a child.
“You thought when you asked someone for a picture of their body it was a 13-year-old you were making that request of.
“You thought you were engaging in very sexual communication with a child.”
The judge added however that he is a “hard-working man” with “strong personal mitigation”.
Cavie was handed an 18-month sentence, suspended for 21 months and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work.
He must also attend 40 rehabilitation activity days, attend an accredited sexual offender programme and is barred from working with children.
He was made the subject of a ten-year sexual harm prevention order and must register as a sex offender for the same amount of time.
The phone he used to send the messages will be forfeited and destroyed and Cavie must pay court costs of £1,000.
