Three school children look on in shock as the blue hatchback zips through a zebra crossing on Portsmouth Road, Bursledon.

The lollipop lady looks dismayed seconds after the near-miss incident during the afternoon school run on Friday.
The CCTV was recorded by local man Richard Habgood.
The 61-year-old has set up a Facebook group, in which he posts clips, as he is ‘looking to make the area safer’.
The father of four said: “The patrol ladies are actually taught to push their pole out in front of them because if something's going to get hit, it's better that they hit the lollipop rather than the person.
“And you can see her do that in the instance. She walks onto the crossing, one car stops, the other car makes a dash for it and as you could see, it's the pole [that gets hit].

The private hire driver added: “It's just terrible. No regard or no understanding of the actual law.
“I mean, once you've got a foot on the crossing, you're supposed to stop. You're not supposed to put your foot down and swerve round people.
“I mean, those ladies, honestly, they're dealing with this almost on a daily basis. Certainly, on a weekly basis, they will get that.
“I was surprised that the driver didn't see that. There was a Hi-Viz person with a stop sign on the crossing.
“How can you not see that? The car one way did and car the other way clearly didn't.”
Richard, who has described the incident as shocking, owns a property on Portswood Road near its junction with School Road.

He has a “camera trained on the crossing” to offer the lollipop ladies some level of protection and wants “people to see that the area is covered”.
However, he has hit out at the road design and believes it needs “a highway engineer to get their brain in gear”.
To improve safety, he says locals would like a pelican crossing or traffic lights.
Less than a month ago, carer Jackie Carrington was hit by two vehicles at the same spot.
Neither driver stopped during the horrific incident that left her with a fractured wrist.
